this ring features turquoise from the turquoise mountain mine in arizona. the lyra is just like it’s big sister, vega, but mini! the brass band has an organic, rough look to it, but the finish is bright and shiny.

to note: brass will tarnish with time and wear. most often this means the metal darkens in color and may develop warmer tones. this can easily be polished up with a polishing cloth! though, some may appreciate the changes and let the metal be. brass can also react with your skin and turn it kinda green. this is a totally normal thing for your skin to do and isn’t harmful to you. to help prevent this, store your ring in a dry spot and don’t wear it when you wash or moisturize. people also coat the inside of brass rings with nail polish to keep the reaction from happening. I do however always send along a sunshine polishing cloth with brass rings in case you prefer to keep brass shiny and yellow.
